Oxygen HIG 3.23.30 build 2808 - October 10, 2017

This version has a full support of new NVIDIA videocards (Pascal family, like GTX 1080). NVIDIA drivers at least 352.00 version is required for correct work of this program.

Oxygen HIG 3.21.75 build 2543 - March 30, 2017

Main improvements:

  • Scanning/saving/loading 10-bit data
  • Tonemapping for 8-bit/10-bit data that improves the quality of HIG photos

Using these improvements we want to obtain data for enhancement of our tomography algorithm (by switching to 10-bit data in future releases). Also using 10 bit data + tonemapping options will improve the visual quality of HIG photos - you will see more details and higher dynamic range.

Oxygen HIG 3.15.6 build 1319 - September 28, 2015

It is a minor update for Oxygen HIG 1319, where the following problem has been fixed:
Slow convertion of voxel models to polygonal ones in some specific inclusion edit scenarios in voxel QC mode. For example, it may happen after automatic glue detection.

Oxygen HIG 3.15.5 build 1319 - July 8, 2015

  • Added Subtract contour option for 3d polygonal inclusion QC
  • A new operation in voxel QC - splitting of inclusion by closed (non-selfintersecting) contour. Using this operation you may simulate Add contour and Subtract contour options in voxel QC.
  • Fixed the problem with disappering inclusions after multiple inclusion plane cut (and application of changes) in voxel QC
  • Fixed the errors with autoplotting on the newest videocards (like GTX 980 and Titan X) and new NVIDIA drivers (version newer than 344.75). From this moment autoplotting must work on newest NVIDIA driver and NVIDIA videocard with not less than 2 Gb memory.
  • Fix of automatic glue detection crash for specific scenarios
  • Fix of QC BBox selection tool for case when HIG scanner enabled
  • Other minor fixes and optimizations

Oxygen HIG 3.15 build HIG 1311 - May, 2015

Oxygen HIG 3.15 build HIG 1304 - May, 2015

  • In this release we introduce two major improvements of Oxygen HIG that significantly expand the opportunities of inclusion editing at quality control (QC) stage: automatic glue detection and manual voxel QC tools.
    • Automatic glue detection is the part of autoplotting (its latest stage). The algorithm makes an attempt to select and remove glue automatically. After this the operator has to confirm or reject the result of removing glue.
    • Manual voxel QC tools give an opportunity for flexible manual modification of autoplotted inclusions in real time. In voxel QC tools mode you will be able to split combined inclusions by plane, delete wrong parts of inclusion, tune shape of each inclusion (like it was done by postprocessing) in real time, merge several (or all) inclusions in a one to perform the operation with group of inclusions, cut subsurface layer inclusions.
    Please, note that these program improvements require NVIDIA video card with video memory not less than 3Gb. Basic hardware configuration that is used for autoplotting will be suitable.
  • Also we have fixed minor bugs and accelerated autoplotting algorithm in case when you use 2 GPUs instead of one.
