Oxygen XRay

New Oxygen XRay software is released.

The Oxygen XRay is a software developed to work with 3D models created by CTan program, SkyScan system. The CTan program uses X-Ray data and creates STL 3D model of rough and its inclusions manually or automatically. Oxygen XRay software loads 3D models, allows to analyze inclusions, allocates diamonds and evaluates prices of solutions.

External cut module is a dynamic link library (DLL) that holds the geometry structure of one or several cuts and contains necessary geometrical calculations. These cut modules you can use while allocation in Pacor Client / Helium Rough Software.

Visible adsorption spectra and DiamCalc-files of colored gem materials are available for download.

Spectral data was obtained with SF-56A spectrophotometer in the 370 - 770 nm range, 1 nm step in Moscow State University Gemological Center. Spectra were recorded through two opposite parallel windows of the sample in room temperature.

Corresponding absorption spectra used for modeling are available in the Microsoft Excel format.

DiamCalc-files of colored gem materials allow to create in DiamCalc your own colour gemstones of corundum, topaz, zirconium, color fancy diamonds and etc.

Oxygen Microscope is a software developed to work with M-Box (microscope).

2. Double sandwich
3. The sandwich feature allows SI3/I1/I2 layers
4. When sandwich is created the "ex-parts" are automatically assigned with the desired clarity (clarity that user selected in the "make sandwich" window)
5. In the "Clarity" window the program check the status of the inclusion. In appropriate cases program advices to leave the clarity intact (in these cases user should not change clarity according to size-based clarity but should leave the value that was specified in the "Make sandwich" window)

Fixed bug in the Oxygen Inclusion: on some stones the program failed to create inclusion contour. This behavior is fixed.

The DiamCalc 2.8.0 (build 375) is released.

The new features:

• Added the possibility to generate same RTF and HTML reports for scanned polished diamonds as in the OctoNus Helium software. Users may customize report templates to fit their needs. Such reports may be generated using files with 3D model of the stone obtained by OctoNus scanners as well as using any other imported 3D model. There are examples of new DiamCalc reports for Helium and Sarin scanned polished brilliants.
• Support for external cuts from DLL was added. All DLLs implementing such cuts should be placed in the "Cuttings" subfolder of DiamCalc. The content of this folder is analyzed at the start of the program and all found cuts are appended to the list of available cuts. If you save DMC file with external cut and pass it to another user of DiamCalc or GemAdviser, make sure that the recipient also has the corresponding DLL.
• The Cut Quality estimation has new index: Dark zone mono. Calculation of Contrast is disabled.
• Added "Lower facets length" parameter to Brilliant cut to measure lower girdle facets according to GIA and Sarin.

The OctoNus clients receive the possibility to use original parametric cuts created by themselves in the Pacor software.
This allows:

1. to use the possibilities of the cut most flexibly and most completely.
2. to create independently and protect your competitive advantage either during the work with new cuts or during the extended work with existing cuts. The cut libraries created by you will be available only to your operators.

You can extend the list of cuts with your original cut(s) using external cut module.
External cut module is a dynamic link library (DLL) that holds the geometry structure of one or several cuts and contains necessary geometrical calculations.
External cut DLL's should be placed in the "cuttings" folder. They may also be loaded within specific commands in configuration files.
